Hi! I’m Sonia - Polish-French architect and visual artist based in New York. Alongside my architectural practice, I enjoy exploring the intersections of design and visual storytelling through painting. My recent work explores atmospheric landscapes, drawing inspiration from direct observation and plein air studies.
Inspired by classical painting, cinematic environment design, and memories from my travels across the US, Japan and Europe, my work seeks to capture moments where atmosphere and light suggest a broader narrative. I work both with digital and traditional media, most often gouache, watercolors, inks, or acrylic paint.
